Healthy Smoothie Recipe for Kids to Make

Holly

On the weekend I really like to experiment with new smoothie recipes. Here is my latest creation. It’s simple to make, healthy and delicious. I’ve called it the Yum Yum Smoothie.

Equipment:

Smoothie Maker

Straw

Ingredients:

Bowl of Strawberries
Bowl of Strawberries

200ml of Coconut Water (If you do not like coconut then you can use something like apple juice but believe me you cannot taste the coconut. Don’t be shy and give it a try!)

Handful of Raspberries, Strawberries and Blueberries

Two Teaspoons of Chia Seeds

One Ripe Banana

The Benefits of CHIA Seeds:

Eating Chia Seeds can provide important health benefits. They are high in protein, packed with Omega Three Fatty Acids and are high in fibre. If you put them in a smoothie you will not even realise you are eating them.
